About Dura Control Systems Corp (DCSC)

Dura Control Systems Corp (DCSC) is a global industrial manufacturer of safety-critical vehicle controls—the parts drivers actually touch and use every day. DCSC designs and builds human-machine interface (HMI), actuation, shift, park, pedal, and cable systems for passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and off-highway equipment.
The company has more than 110 years of operating history. It began with mechanical control cables and park-brake hardware and now supplies mechatronic systems: electronic and joystick shifters, shift-by-wire actuators, pedal assemblies, electronic park locks, sensors, printed circuit boards, and firmware.
Its products are powertrain-agnostic and used on internal-combustion, hybrid, and battery-electric platforms. Hybrid vehicles typically carry the highest content per vehicle; some EVs require more DCSC content than comparable ICE models because they must include electronic park lock.
DCSC engineers its own products in two technical centers and qualifies them years before production. Replacing a supplier on a safety-critical control system requires re-engineering and re-qualification, which is why the company’s top-ten customer relationships average 28 years. Content runs throughout the vehicle rather than at a single point.
